The name MARBLE AND CLAY comes from acclaimed film editor Walter Murch. He reasoned that the methods of working have just as much value as the final creation.

A great sculpture can start with a solid slab of marble which the sculptor chips away to reveal the beauty within. Or it can be formed in clay, bit by bit, resulting in a timeless work of art. We relate to this reasoning because we feel It's important to enjoy the process as well as the product. This is something MARBLE AND CLAY brings to every project.
